In about a week we take off for the great white north...with a quick stop in Vancouver to visit with friends and hit some of the bars and breweries we missed last time.
On July 20th, we board Princess Cruises and head up to Alaska via Glacier Bay. We'll disembark in Anchorage and - after a few days - take the train to Fairbanks, then grand finale in Denali National Park before returning home to Denver. Whew!
As most of our trips happen, this started out as a simple seven-day Alaskan cruise. Riiiiight. As if we would ever do anything simply. The next thing I know, we've got friends to meet, northern lights to see, Alaskan beer to drink, and probably bears to feed.
Hie-ho, it's off to the north we go!
